ABOUT ME
I graduated with my bachelors degree from Gannon University on a full scholarship to play basketball; majored in Biology and minored in Psychology. Taking any opportunity that is provided to me, I also worked as an undergraduate researcher and undergraduate teaching assistant for 3 years; where I found a love for research and helping students.

I work tirelessly to achieve results, strive for perfection and meticulously focus on small things. I constantly strive to improve myself and my work.

I graduated with my Ph.D in Biological Sciences with a focus in Neurobiology using C. elegans as a model of Parkinson's Disease in 2022. I studied how environmental factors impact aging and neurodegeneration, contributing to the development or progression Parkinsonism symptoms. However, I would like to think my career has allowed me to have a broad interest and study in Molecular and Cellular biology. My research interests include: neurodegenerative diseases, natural products, mitochondrial biology, fatty acid metabolism, toxicology, and general cellular biology.
